It Takes All Kinds: Generational Differences at Work

“Why is this policy? Don’t micromanage me. To be successful I need to work more than 40 hours a week. Rules are rules.” All of those statements reflect the way different generations approach their work. Veterans, Baby Boomers, Gen-X, and Generation “Why” all contribute to the workforce in different ways. All have different priorities and values.

The Mobile, AL Society for Human Resource Management is sponsoring Understanding and Valuing the Generational Mix in the Workplace on April 11 from 7:30 am – 1 pm. This seminar is designed to help you learn how you and your organization can develop an appreciation for the differences, harness their strengths, and build a stronger team.

Don’t miss this timely presentation from Libby Anderson, SPHR. Libby is Past President of the HR Florida State Council and is an independent consultant and trainer. Her areas of expertise include employee relations, staff selection and performance management.
