1. Take Action Now – Successful Entrepreneurs always evaluate the situation at hand, gather input from other entrepreneurs in order to implement quick decisions. By taking action immediately, will lead to increased revenue and profit margins much faster than sitting on the fence post waiting.

2. Learn from Famous and Successful Entrepreneurs – Follow the success of other people, businesses and organizations. Say to your self “How can I use their proven strategies that are making them rich and apply those tactics to my business?”

3. Read Daily – Every day I you should be reading your local newspaper, the national newspaper along with business magazine articles and a chapter from a book. Look to read business and self help books, and books related to your business niche. By reading more you will come up with ideas from what you have learned and implement these ideas to your business.

4. Get Organized – Discard and delete, don’t let your self drown in old paper files and emails. These can and will build up to the point you’re overwhelmed and do not know what to do next. Review and salvage what you really need to keep then shred and delete. Consider it “not looking back to the past – but moving forward to the future.”

5. Know More About Your Customer – Gather as much information as you can about your leads and existing customers. How often do they come to your store or shop or website? What is their age? Where are they from? Where and What else do they buy? By corresponding with your customers on a regular basis, you will discover and create more opportunities to sell them something.

6. Increase Your Prices – One of the easiest ways to increase revenues and profits is to simply raise your prices. If some customers complain (and some will) you can always offer a reduced sale price. It is so much easier to offer discounts if you have a good mark up on your products or services. If you have small profit margins and you want to offer a discount sale, you’re most likely to lose money.
