If you enjoy bells, whistles, train noises, mooing cows, and a raving mad man, then you might enjoy watching Mad Money. Jim Cramer is the host of Mad Money. He’s a middle-aged former hedge fund manager that knows Wall Street very well. This is not to say is information is always accurate. Actually, far from it. It’s painfully obvious that he’s paid to be bullish regardless of what is taking place in the market. That said, he’s still entertaining to watch. He’s so entertaining that my two sons – 5 and 3 years old – love watching it even though they have no idea what he’s talking about. They just love all the noise, screaming, and excitement. They especially like when people call in and say Boo-Yah!

My kids love Mad Money so much that they have now figured out a way to turn on our Texas direct tv hd dvr and find Mad Money without any problem whatsoever. Even when we’re at the playground, they ask me if we’re going to watch Mad Money when we get home. I never thought I would see such a day. I can only hope that they don’t get involved in the stock market when they get older. It’s a dirty game where people don’t have an opportunity to contribute to society. I believe more in making a contribution. But, I’ll worry about that issue later. For now, I’ll let them enjoy their Mad Money.
